DEPARTMENT OF PAEDIATRICS

Pediatric department of proposed PGI YCMH comprises of a Team of highly experienced Academicians with many research publications and Clinical skills.

Department:

Pediatric ward:  Comprises of 60 beds for indoor patient with 2 units.it is equipped with well-trained nursing staff .It caters to thousands and thousands of children spanning the PCMC and adjacent areas.

We provide free treatment to the needy and lower socioeconomic strata of the society.

It is located on the fourth floor of the main YCMH building. Our PICU is a part of ICU at present and we have 5 beds dedicated for same with out of the world infrastructure and Facilities.

The NICU: caters to the peripheral hospitals of PCMC .It has modern, staff friendly equipment and round the clock services are rendered to the patients.it has radiant warmer, phototherapy units ,ventilators and multipara monitors to assist treatment for sick newborn. Surfactant therapy and latest medication are provided in the NICU.

Paediatric OPD: Itis located on the ground floor of the hospital and has spacious consultation rooms with Specialty OPD,s  mainly Child Rehabilitation and  Child Guidance clinics. Immunization clinic runs every Thursday.
